| i upgraded my pc to core i7 and turned it on all fine installed new drivers... but then(DUN DUN DUNNNN) i got the "Side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Failed to start application" error whenever trying to use any .EXE file  which includes the drivers for my video card. i tried re/in/un installing microsoft visual c++ redistributables..but got errors. my computer is running with no video card basically so slow as fuck and i cant open any games cuz directX is no longer supported D: im going to reinstall vista but first need to backup all my shit so il let u guys no when im up and running again | |

| aite fixed it  but rc isnt working, it crashes when it reaches the end of the loading screen for online and campaign | |

| V-sync off ? I've sometimes seen that cause crashs/frame lag. | |

| Yeah, that happens with nVidia 8-series cards (or newer), not sure if it happens with newer ATIs as well. I had the same issue myself. Sorry I didn't see this post earlier, I would have suggested that. | |
